[!Note] The on-prem license feature must be enabled via feature flag to be visible on the customer tenant.

Any on-prem deployment must be initiated through a Hydden commissioned cloud tenant for access to the on-prem installation packages and license setup, verification, and renewal.

Refer to Registered Tenants for details on adding or editing a tenant to your ecosystem.

Online Registration of the Tenant

  1. In your On-prem tenant, navigate to __Configuration Tenant__ and the Tenant Config tab.

  2. Copy the Registration Code.
  3. Sign in to your Hydden provided cloud tenant.
  4. Navigate to the Tenant Config page.
  5. Click the License button.
  6. Enter your on-prem server URL.
  7. Into the Code field, paste the previously copied registration code.
  8. Click Update.

Licenses get updated withing 24 hour or can be manually pushed via the refresh button.

Offline Registration of the Tenant

  1. In your On-prem tenant, navigate to __Configuration Tenant__ and the Tenant Config tab.

  2. Select the Offline Registration checkbox.
  3. Sign in to your Hydden provided cloud tenant.
  4. Navigate to the Tenant Config page.
  5. Click the License button.
  6. Select the Off-Line Registration checkbox.

  7. Copy the license key.
  8. On your on-prem tenant’s Tenant Config page, paste the license key into the License Request field.

  9. Click the License icon next to the request field.
  10. Copy the License Response.
  11. Back on your cloud tenant, paste that response into the Response field.
  12. Click Update.

Licenses get updated withing 24 hour or can be manually pushed via the refresh button.

API Token

With the creation of the license keys, an API Token is created which renews every 24 hours. Through the existence of that token, a License Repository is created to support package downloads.
