The Hydden Client Templates provide a quick and easy way for Hydden tenant administrators to register new clients in a pre-configured and consistent manner. Pre-configured modules and sites can be set on a template. Token passwords can also be created to allow for automated client deployments.

To access Client Templates:

  1. Navigate to __Configuration Settings__ and select Client Templates.
  2. Click Add.

  3. In the Name field, provide a name for your template. Use the name to make this descriptive of your use case for the template, for example, All Collectors or Linux Collectors only.
  4. The Server Address field is prefilled with the URL of your Hydden tenant, default: https://portal.hydden.com:443/
  5. From the Modules drop-down, select the collectors you wish to automatically deploy in this template following the registration. <!– * Active Directory Collector: Collects information from Active Directory Domains.

  6. The Token Password field is an optional setting that allows you to set a password on the Client Template which can be used in conjunction with a Client Template Token to perform a non-interactive client deployment. Tokens can be copied using the Copy Token icon shown on the main Client Templates screen and used with any of the client install packages.
  7. The Site field populates automatically during the client registration process, and it can be manually added or edited post-initial registration.
  8. Click Add.
